Our Philosophy

Buddha Village

Buddha Village is a peaceful farm stay and art retreat nestled near Isha Foundation in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka. Surrounded by lush greenery, a serene lake, gardens, and thoughtfully placed sculptures, it offers a tranquil escape where nature and creativity exist in perfect harmony. It is a place to slow down, reflect, and reconnect—inviting you to breathe deeply and embrace the beauty of simple, mindful living.

The vision of Buddha Village was brought to life by Samrat Asok Gautam, named after Gautama Buddha, whose teachings of compassion, mindfulness, and inner awakening form the foundation of this space. As the only one in his family to embrace Buddhism from birth, Samrat has woven these values of balance, awareness, and kindness into the very soul of Buddha Village.

Every corner of Buddha Village reflects this philosophy—from its antique Buddha collection, lovingly gathered from different parts of the world, to the magnificent 18-foot Buddha that stands tall as a symbol of peace and enlightenment. The property also features a serene amphitheater where art, expression, and community come alive, along with a gentle lake that embraces the village and enhances its natural charm.

Buddha Village is more than just a stay—it is an experience of stillness, art, and soulful living, where the quiet strength of nature meets the depth of mindfulness.

Here, you are invited to find peace, feel love, and learn to truly Love the Life You Live.
